Our Story
In 2012, Boone Tyson married his wife Bethany at the ripe old age of 20 while they were both still in college at Texas Tech University. With a personal loan from Boone’s dad, they bought their first house together for a WHOPPING $71,000 and remodeled it together. That same year, they started a landscaping and lawn-care business and the entrepreneurial bug bit them hard!
Over the next 3 years, with the help of Bethany’s dad, they went on to flip a handful of houses and grow the landscaping company from a hobby to a 6 figure business. During the summer of 2015, Boone and Bethany were approached with an opportunity to move to Edinburg to pastor part-time at a christian church near UTRGV. The answer was a resounding yes, so they sold the landscaping company, finished the flip houses, and hit the road.
The Tyson Family headed to the Valley in January of 2016 with a dog and a dream. They were ready to begin a new life in the RGV, serving their community alongside the church and also in the marketplace. Boone had passed his real estate exam before the move and was ready to take territory.
After Joining Keller Williams and The Deldi Ortegon Team, Boone was thrown into real estate headfirst, but with great mentors and support, was able to build a thriving sales business. At the end of 2016, the first flip house was also purchased and Boone’s brother Corey moved to the Valley to join the journey.
Over the next 5 years, the Tyson’s flipped nearly 50 houses and conducted/partnered on nearly 500 sales transactions. TNT Real Estate Brokerage was launched in 2022 and has expanded from a scrappy group of agents officing in the equivalent of a large closet to a growing real estate brokerage that’s partnered with some of the Valley’s best agents. Since then, the dream hasn’t changed much.
